Rentrak Corporation, a firm dedicated to providing media measurements across multiple platforms as a service for the advertising, television and film sectors, announced the signing of a contract with Hispanic Group, a minority-owned independent ad agency with specialized knowledge of the Latino market.Hispanic Group is known for creating messages to reach its target audience by means of a concept called “ultrasegmentation,” which consists of filtering Latinos’ demographic information so they can be pinpointed with messages of maximum reach and frequency.“We are looking forward to working with Rentrak and having access to a massive system of information across a deep number of networks,” said Jose Valderrama, president and CEO of Hispanic Group. “Their targeting capabilities will help us enhance our clients advertising estrategias”. With Rentrak, Hispanic Group will have a clearer picture of consumer viewing preferences, patterns and motivations.Rentrak’s TV ratings service is the only one incorporating satellite, telco and cable television systems as it examines viewing information from more than 25 million television sets across the United States and including local markets.Rentrak says it will continue providing stable, robust audience measurement services to help clients effectively achieve their business goals across multiple platforms.
